about

A collaboration between Rocket and Wronger. They started with Wronger's remix of his own track (New Friend) and then Rocket played with it a bit and made it sound intentionally vintage. For the last reset in the track, they tried to polish it heavily for a modern, new feeling.

They took a crunched mp3 of the original theme into old school 80-70s style drums and 80's retro synthesizers, then they made it glitch and reset into an upbeat, forward melody with slightly punchier house drums, reminiscent of "surface wholesome" games like Doki Doki Literature Club.

[SPOILERS]

Rebeca resets Paraphore multiple times and skips 66 years using the Next x666 command. Each time you would get to play through a similar but slightly different intro sequence, in a montage. Unfortunately, it had to be cut for a much shorter sequence which gets the same idea across (Septrica Ending) in order to get Paraphore 1.0.0 done in a reasonable amount of time.

This track was also potentially going to be used for a scene where Som and friends use the AMCN to carefully craft their plan to save the world. In that case, the little bleeps and bloops were going to be messages going back and forth.
